Day 01

Arrive Paris Today morning arrive into Paris CDG Airport and transfer to your hotel by Seat-in-coach OR a Private vehicle. Check in at your hotel. Day 02 

Paris After breakfast at the hotel, visit any one of the iconic kid-friendly museums – the whole family will enjoy the fascinating exhibitions at the Palais de la Découverte, the Cité des Enfants at La Villette and the Galerie des Enfants at the Muséum National d‟Histoire. The Musée Grévin makes for an entertaining afternoon outing. Budding artists will be in their element at the Musée en Herbe, where exhibitions are designed to appeal to children, even tiny tots. Day 03

Paris After breakfast at the hotel, lots of options for families – Young people should not miss out on culture: admission to the Musées et Monuments nationaux (national museums and monuments) is free for under 18s. There is so much to choose from in Paris … the Louvre, the Musée du Moyen Âge, Château de Fontainebleau, Musée d‟Orsay, etc. There is a huge choice!Plenty of cultural venues in Paris and the Ilede-France region offer free admission for the entire family on the firstSunday of each month, including the Musée Cluny, the Centre Pompidou, the Musée Picasso and the Musée Rodin, which reopened recently after renovation. No visit to Paris is complete without visiting the iconic Eiffel Tower – The new first floor. With its transparent floor and new installations, the 1st floor is now one of the most spectacular and attractive places in Paris. Another chance to rediscover the first level of the Tower 57 metres above Paris, the biggest level of the monument combines every advantage! A children‟s tour, a museum tour for everyone in the open air, as well as the excitement of the glass floor and the immersive film! Seasonal events are also organised there, such as a themed terrace in summer and an ice rink in winter. The experience is completed by a shop of 100m2 oriented towards culture, a snack area and the restaurant 58 Tour Eiffel. The Tower offers its young visitors a fun and educational experience dedicated to children aged 6 – 10 on the first level. Go up to the first level of the Tower, by the stairs or the lift, and collect a booklet-game and a pencil from the Ferrié pavilion. Exploring Paris from the 2nd floor With a panoramic view over Paris, you couldn‟t really find a better spot than the 2nd floor for taking some photos for the album. Day 04

Paris – Lyon After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Paris Gare de Lyon station for the train to Lyon Part Dieu (2 hrs). Arrive at Lyon and check in at your hotel. Today you can explore the city on hop-on-hop-off bus or explore the city on foot or bicycles or on a cruise. Suggested options for families – Take the Lyon City Card – it includes 22 Museums and its temporary exhibitions with Free Access. The Lyon Card offers Unlimited access to public transport like the Metro, Tram, Bus & Funicular. The Card also gives exceptional offers in Department Stores. France Adventures – Climbing ropes, net bridges and skateboarding through the trees- super fun for everyone at this aerial adventure park! The park has different circuits designed for different abilities and age groups and there is a little toddler section for ages two and up. Open from the end of March to November. Beautiful Park with Zoo – FREE: One of the best things to do in Lyon with kids is Parc de la Tȇte D‟Or.Big grand gates welcome you into this beautiful park, the largest city park in France. It has a small, free zoo, several playgrounds, a traditional carousel for the children to ride on, a Green House with plants from around the world. One can also rent electric bikes here or even a paddle boat for the lake if you like! If you forget to pack a little picnic there are many kiosks selling food and drinks. Day 05 

Lyon After breakfast at the hotel, Learn about the Movie World – Something fun for older kids as well as the little ones is the Musee des Miniatures et Cinema where you can see a cute collection of miniature objects and sets used in the making of films. A great way to get behind the scenes, exhibits include the outfits of movie characters such as Batman, robots from the movies Alien and iRobot, and weapons and armour from Troy and Gladiator. German and French movies are represented also and tours are available in English, Spanish and German. After this explore the Old City – If the weather is good, you can‟t beat a stroll through Vieux Lyon or old Lyon with the kids. This part of the city is so interesting and well preserved with alley ways and courtyards. The kids will love spotting the many gargoyles that adorn the buildings. This is a lovely area to have lunch or dinner also, with lots of choice for places to eat. Overnight at Lyon hotel.

Day 06

Lyon – Annecy After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Lyon Part Dieu station for your train to Annecy – (approx. 2 hrs.). Annecy is one of the most popular towns in Alps and is an attractive setting with woods, mountains and the Lake of d‟Annecy closeby. Check in at your hotel. The town is found in the HauteSavoie region of eastern France, on the shores of Lake Annecy, 22 miles south of Geneva. Annecy is situated at the northern end of the lake of Annecy, and is 25 miles NE of Aix les Bains. It occupies a strategic location on routes between Italy, Switzerland and France.The purity of the lake and the beauty of its setting compels Annéciens outdoors – in good weather it seems everyone is hanging out in pavement cafes, mountain-gazing along the lakefront, swimming in the lake, or just aimlessly cycling around it. The River Thiou is one of the shortest rivers in Europe. It is just 3.5km long most of which is in the canals running through Annecy making it such a beautiful city – the ‘Venice of the Alps’. One of the nice things about the lake Annecy here is the constant activity. Along the lake edges are people jogging, walking, rollerblading or just sat on the grass on the edge of the lake. Day 07

Annecy After breakfast at the hotel, day at leisure to enjoy one of the many activities. For something truly local, try the water taxi – a ferry that stops in three of the most popular villages (Talloires, Menthon St Bernard and Veyrier) and leaves from Annecy three to five times a day in summer. Most of the public beaches around the lake have an entrance fee, but the beach on the Marquisats side of Annecy, just five minutes by foot from the old town, is free. Cruise on the Lake Annecy on a catamaran, take a guided tour of the town in a convertible beetle or a 2CV cabriolet, take a scenic flight onboard a gyrocopter or discover Lake Annecy and the Aravis mountains from above in a hot-air balloon. Day 08

Annecy – Chamonix Mont-Blanc After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Annecy station for your train to Chamonix region. The average journey time between Annecy and Chamonix Mont Blanc is 2 hours and 47 minutes and the fastest journey time is 2 hours and 14 minutes. The journey requires a minimum 1 change since there are no direct trains. Chamonix is a commune in the Haute-Savoie département in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It was the site of the first Winter Olympics in 1924. Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and most notably the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and is known as the “gateway to the European Cascades.” “Mont Blanc” meaning “White Mountain” is the highest mountain in the Alps. Here, it’s worth lingering at every stopping-off point. Five places that are part of the same whole but different, five unmissable destinations and a charming little railway line. Cham’ is a destination popular the world over. In the streets of this high-mountain town you’ll hear languages from every corner of the globe. But the people who come to this ‘summit meeting’ share the same way of thinking, the same love for mountaineering, its legends and its ethics. When you’re out shopping in the town centre, wherever you are look up and you’ll see ‘it’ there… 4,810 metres (15,781 ft) of rock, snow, ice and dreams of things to come. In full view of the Aiguilles rising above the Chamonix Valley, Les Houches, a scattering of hamlets set among deep forests and rolling Alpine meadows, is still the ‘sentinel of Mont Blanc’. It’s the perfect place to introduce children gently to the high mountains, to the sound of rushing mountain streams. This is one of the best ski resorts in the world, with exceptional views at 2000 metres altitude, Chamonix has snow from December – May and ski enthusiasts can find great skiing conditions in springtime even. Day 09

Chamonix Mont-Blanc After breakfast at the hotel, today proceed for tour of one of the highest summit in Chamonix at 3842 metres – Aiguille du Midi. The mountain is accessible by a cable car within 20 minutes from the centre of Chamonix. For more than 50 years, the most famous and highest of the Aiguilles de Chamonix has been an essential world attraction. From its height of 3,777m, the Aiguille du Midi and its laid-out terraces offer a 360° view of all the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. A lift brings you to the summit terrace at 3,842m, where you will have a clear view of Mont Blanc. LE PAS DANS LE VIDE ! Since December 21st 2013, the more fearless take A STEP INTO THE VOID, onto a 2.50 m glass cage out over a 1000 m precipice. A product of modern architectural and technical prowess and a sensation packed experience. This is an unique overhanging glazed floor from which visitors can soak in stunning views of the panorama. NEW in 2016 : THE PIPE A long steel gallery of 32m to make the full rotation of the central peak of the Aiguille du Midi. RESTAURANTS A cafeteria and a souvenir shop are open all year round. In the summer, the “3842m” restaurant invites you to taste Savoie culinary specialities in a unique setting. PANORAMIC MONT BLANC GONDOLA Once at the top, do not miss the gondola lift ride over the Glacier du Géant to the Pointe Helbronner in Italy. It is open from June to September. Day 10

Chamonix Mont-Blanc After breakfast at the hotel, day at leisure. Lots of activities in Chamonix – Take the tourist mini-train that takes you on an exciting tour of the town, take a Scenic helicopter ride to discover the real splendor of the majestic Mont Blanc, there is paragliding, hiking in summer, enjoy activities with animal friends – opt for a taster of dogsledding. If you like horses and skiing, try skijoering, a snow sport in Nature!Another suggested attraction for families – Montenvers – Mer de Glace – Departing from Chamonix, this famous rack and pinion railway brings you to the Montenvers site at 1913 m. An imposing panorama of the Mer de Glace glacier, the Drus and the Grands Jorasses. ICE CAVE The tour of the “Grotte de glace” (Ice Cave) takes visitors into the very heart of the glacier. Re-sculpted every year, it describes the life of mountain people in the early 19th century. It can be entered either by a walk of around 20 minutes on a footpath, or by gondola lift. NB: There are more than 400 steps from the arrival of the gondola lift to the entrance to the cave. The Glaciorium A world of discovery awaits you at the new exhibition centre at the Montenvers Mer de Glace. Here the creation and evolution of the glaciers over the centuries is explained in detail. The Temple of Nature The Temple has now reopened to the public and an innovative optical theatre takes visitors on a trip into the past where they will meet the likes of Forbes (the Scottish geologist), Chateaubriand, Louis Pasteur and Agutte the artist. Day 11 

Depart Chamonix Mont-Blanc After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Geneva International Airport (approx 1 hour) for your departure flight.
