Day 01

Arrive Stockholm Arrive Stockholm, the Swedish capital in the afternoon. Transfer to hotel and check in at hotel. Stockholm was founded in 1252. It was named Stockholm, as referring to the town in between the bridges (14 islands that are connected with 57 bridges) and surrounded by water which is so clean that you can swim anywhere. It is known as one of the world‟s most beautiful capitals and is often referred to as the “Venice of the North” due to its numerous, canals and waterways. Rest of the evening at leisure. We recommend a stroll around the magical Old Town (Gamla Stan) with its narrow cobbled streets and old buildings built in the 1700 century. The old town has the biggest options of Stockholm‟s restaurants, tourist shops, studios and museums. Optional – late evening visit Stockholm‟s coolest bar „Absolut Ice Bar‟. Here in the world‟s first permanent ice bar, the temperature is – 5 degrees all year round and the entire interior including the glasses is made from pure ice. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 02

Stockholm After breakfast proceed for three hours city sightseeing including a visit to the old town (Gamla Stan) with its narrow cobbled streets and old merchant’s houses, the Royal Palace, the Town Hall, the Royal Opera, the Stockholm Cathedral and the Royal Dramatic Theatre (no entrances included). Then visit „Skansen‟ – the oldest open air museum in the world and is also a zoological park. Over the years about 150 historical buildings have been moved here from nearly every part of Sweden. Most of them date from the 18th and 19th centuries. Visitors to the houses and farmsteads are met by historical interpreters in period costume and they often demonstrate domestic occupations, such as weaving and spinning. After the tour, rest of the day is at leisure. We recommend a boat trip on the canals to the Drottningholm Castle which is on an island. The castle was built in 1662 and is the residence to the Royal family of Sweden. The castle has perfectly preserved theatre, Chinese pavilion and gardens. It is the finest example of an 18th-century royal residence inspired by the Palace of Versailles. (Service not included). Rest of the evening is at leisure. Day 03

Stockholm – Bergen After breakfast check out and transfer to the Airport for your flight to Bergen. Arrive at Bergen. Transfer to hotel and check in at hotel. Bergen for almost one thousand years has been the destination of travellers from all around the world. Bergen is the kingdom’s second largest city, with over 2,25,000 inhabitants and situated on the west coast of Norway. It is one of the oldest large trading ports in Northern Europe. Visit Bryggen – the famous harbour waterfront and see the old wooden buildings which were placed on UNESCO‟s world heritage list. Then visit the Hanseatic Museum situated in one of the old houses in Bergen and has interiors from the 18th and 19th centuries. After that take a stroll at the Bergen Fish market located by the harbour and is very popular for souvenirs and handicrafts. Later in the evening take the „Floibanen‟ – funicular train, the only one of its kind in Scandinavia, up „Mount Floyen‟ and enjoy your evening. From Mount Floyen (320 metres above sea level) enjoy the fantastic view of the city and the fjords surrounding Bergen. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 04

Bergen – Voss – Gudvangen – Flam After breakfast check out and transfer to Bergen station to board the NSB Train to Voss at 0840 hrs. (approx. 1 hr. 15 min.). Arrive Voss at 0954 hrs. and take a coach to Gudvangen at 1000 hrs., passing old farmsteads and colourful villages. Take a short stop at Stalheimskleivene view point, which is a breathtaking vista spot before reaching the fjord village of Gudvangen at 1125 hrs. From Gudvangen take a cruise to Flam at 1130 hrs. Picturesque farms and villages are nestled along the steep mountainsides, reaching peaks upto 4500 feet. Also see the Naeroyfjord, the narrowest, most dramatic and yet the most beautiful fjords and the Aurlandsfjord. This is an unforgettable and spectacular journey which takes around two hours. Arrive Flam at 1330 hrs. Explore the fjord village of Flam on your own at leisure. We recommend a visit to the souvenir shop or visit the Aegir Brewery. You can also take an optional tour of the Aurlands Valley (1 hours drive) – one of the most beautiful valleys of the Western Fjords. A glass barrier is all that separates travelers from the water 2,000 feet below at the dramatic Aurland Fjord Lookout, opened last year. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 05

Flam – Myrdal – Oslo After breakfast check out and transfer to Flam station. Board the Flåm Railway (Flamsbana) at 1100 hrs This journey is regarded as one of the highlights of Norway in a nutshell. The 20-km-long train journey from Flam to the mountain station of Myrdal, takes around 55 minutes. On the journey, you have views of some of the most magnificent mountain scenery in Norway with an ever-changing panorama of tall mountains and cascading waterfalls. The train moves slowly and stops at the best views. Arrive at Myrdal at around 1200 hrs and take a connecting train at 1225 hrs to Oslo (NSB Rail). Arrive Oslo at 1732 hrs Transfer to hotel and check in. Rest of the day at leisure for personal discovery and shopping. We recommend a walk down the Karl Johan Boulevard, Oslo‟s main street for shopping and a stroll along the Aker Brygge with its numerous shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and also the biggest mall. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 06

Oslo After breakfast proceed for a three hour city sightseeing tour with an English speaking authorised local guide. The tour includes a visit to the famous „Holmenkollen Ski Museum and Tower‟ – the world’s oldest museum specializing in skis and the history of skiing, situated in Holmenkollen ski jump – inside the actual jump, where visitors can experience the magnificent view of Oslo. Visit the Royal Castle, Nobel Peace Centre and City Hall. After that you can take optional tours like – the amazing „Vigeland‟ sculpture park having 192 sculptures with more than 600 figures or take an optional trip to „Bygdøy‟ to see some of the famous museums, such as the „Fram Exploration Museum‟ where you will see the 39 meter rigged schooner used by Fridtjof Nansen and the „Viking Ship Museum‟ which houses three Viking ships excavated from the Oslofjord. (Entrance to the Viking Ship museum included). Also you can see the Norfolk Museum (open air museum) or the Zoological Natural History Museum. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 07 

Oslo – Copenhagen After breakfast morning at leisure on own. Later check out and transfer to the ferry terminal for your cruise onboard DFDS Seaways to Copenhagen. The cruise departs at 1700 hrs. Check in starts at 1530 hrs. The gates shut at 1430 hrs. Overnight onboard the cruise.

Day 08

Copenhagen Today morning arrive in Copenhagen at 0930 hrs. Transfer to hotel and check in. Proceed for three hours city sightseeing in Copenhagen with a local guide (service included). See the “The Little Mermaid” – national symbol of Denmark and a fairy tale figure and is one of Denmark‟s biggest tourist attractions. Visit the colourful and exceptionally beautiful Dutch-style canal lined with cafés, bars and restaurants at Nyhavn – the oldest part of Copenhagen harbour. Also visit the Amalienborg Palace – winter home for the Danish royal family, Amalienborg Castle, Rosenborg Castle where the Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown Regalia are kept and the Rose Gardens. In the evening we recommend a Canal tour or a visit to the shopping area called “Strøget”, which is the world‟s longest pedestrian shopping street. The shops and department stores along Strøget offer everything from world famous Danish design to trendy clothing, antiques and souvenirs. After that late evening visit the Tivoli Gardens, one of the world‟s oldest amusement park. Here you will find 29 restaurants, 26 rides, 4,00,000 flowers and 1,10,000 different colored lights. The park, which is located right in the centre of the city, has something for everyone – whether you want fun and entertainment, an artistic event or a gourmet dinner. Tivoli is one of the highlights in Copenhagen (entrance included). Overnight at the Hotel..

Day 09

Depart Copenhagen After breakfast check out and transfer to the airport for your return flight back home.
