Tour Plan
  • Day 01: Arrival in Dehradun – Drive to Rishikesh (60 kms / approx. 1.5 hours)

Meet our representative upon arrival in Dehradun and proceed to Rishikesh – The Himalayan foothills are the backdrop for Yogis here who meditate on the banks of the River Ganges. Popular for Laxman Jhula, temples, ashrams and Ghats. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

  • Day 02: Sightseeing of Rishikesh

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Rishikesh. Visit the Lakshman Jhula, a suspended bridge across the Ganga. Legend has it that Lakshman crossed a bridge made of jute ropes here. The view from the bridge is panoramic… mountains, the river, the temples and the ashrams. Later, visit Muni-ki-Reti…literally, the sands of the sages. The sandy banks of the Ganga have been used by the sages for meditation for years, thus giving the area its name. Muni-ki-Reti is known for the many ashrams that dot the area. Late evening, attend the evening Aarti at Geeta Bhawan's Ghat where Hindus gather in large crowds to pay homage to their holy river and seek blessings from Ganga River. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

  • Day 03: Drive from Rishikesh – Kanatal (78 kms / approx. 2.5 hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kanatal. Kanatal is located in Uttarakhand, very scenic setting surrounding by mountains and rivers, with breathtaking views and scenery. This is mainly because the town of Kanatal lies near Mussoorie, which is a popular tourist hotspot. Tourists mainly flock to Mussoorie, and the town of Kanatal is mostly left untouched. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kanatal.

  • Day 04: Drive from Kanatal – Mussoorie (48 kms / approx. 2 hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Mussoorie. Established by the British in 1823, Mussoorie became hugely popular with the Raj set. The influence of that era lingers on in the architecture of the churches, libraries, hotels and summer palaces, also on adjacent town Landour. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Mussoorie.

  • Day 05: Sightseeing in Mussoorie

After breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing tour starting with Gun Hill, which is the 2nd highest peak of Mussoorie and can be reached by ropeway too. It offers a beautiful panoramic view of snow-capped Himalayan ranges and Doon valley. Later, visit the park estate of Sir George Everest - Mt. Everest was named after him. The place provides an excellent view of surrounding valleys and peaks. Later, visit Kempty falls, located 15 kms from Mussoorie. The falls offer a breathtaking view of the water cascading down forty feet, splitting into five streams on the way. In evening, stroll down on Mall Road – structure of the road will take you back to the colonial period of British. Along with restaurants, hotels and shops, there is a 100-year-old Methodist church too. Overnight stay in Mussoorie.
